Your data rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation and how to exercise them.
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019 and the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023, you have specific rights regarding your personal data held by Fastro Technologies Ltd.
You can request a copy of all personal data Fastro holds about you. We will provide it in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (JSON + CSV).
If any of your personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, you can request correction. Update most data directly in Profile → Edit profile. For KYC data, contact support.
You can request deletion of your account and personal data. To do so: 1. Go to Profile → Privacy → Delete my account. 2. A 30-day grace period begins — your data is deactivated but not yet erased. 3. After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted subject to legal retention obligations (KYC: 7 years; financial records: 5 years).
You may request a data export containing: profile JSON, order history CSV, payment history CSV, addresses JSON, ratings JSON, and your uploaded media (excluding destroyed KYC documents). Exports are delivered via a secure download link valid for 72 hours.
You may object to: - Marketing communications — opt out any time under Profile → Notifications. - Automated decision-making — contact our DPO if you believe an automated decision has significantly affected you.
If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) at nitda.gov.ng.
